Criminal Case – Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court
Legis Chambers / 0 Comments /Jerry Sodipe, instructed by Prime Solicitors, represented a client at the Uxbridge magistrates court. On the day of trial, the crown had not disclosed the relevant CCTV footage they sought to rely upon against the defendant and neither was the relevant police officer who was the alleged complainant available to give evidence. The crown was therefore compelled to offer no evidence and the charges against the defendant were dismissed. The client was happy because a conviction would have meant immediate custody as he had committed the alleged offences whilst on a suspended sentence
